For many real estate professionals, short sales and foreclosures represent the new “traditional” real estate transaction. Knowing how to maneuver the complexities of short sales as well as how to identify the distinct real estate opportunities in foreclosure are not merely good skills to have in today’s market—they are critical. This course helps students evaluate all available options for distressed homeowners and identify the components of an effective short-sale package. This course looks at how real estate professionals can counsel buyer-clients in the purchase of foreclosure properties. And as a practical resource, this course shows students how consumers can foreclosure in the future.

At Home With Diversity Course Length: 1 Day (8-5)* Learn about diversification and adapting to changing demographic trends with the use of tools to enable you to be effective.
You will learn: ·The importance of including diversity in your business ·How to build diversity awareness and communication ·How you can learn about the social and cultural makeup of your local service area. ·How diversity reinforces compliance with the Fair Housing Laws ·How to out diversity strategies into your business practices ·The tools to help you implement diversity into your business

Home from Work Certificate Course Length: 3 hours
Employer-Assisted Housing (EAH) and EAH programs benefit REALTORS, employers, and communities. This class will help you identify the needs in your community and how you can reach out to employers. Help employers establish an employer assisted housing benefit. Obtain the necessary tools to work with area employers to promote housing opportunities including EAH for their workforce. Conduct home-buying workshops, schedule home buying counseling sessions and develop financial benefit programs. (approved by the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors) (approved for 3 hours of CE credit)
